I was inspired by TX1911 to try a turkey breast his way:) There won't be any "New" info here but maybe I can inspire someone to do something different. Frozen Turkey Breast (Kroger - in the frozen section next to french fries of all things smh)
Brined it overnight - rinsed - dried- and trying SPG for the first time. I think this is a slight variation from TX1911 - but it was easier:)
fired up smoker and came to temp in about 35 min - using peach wood for this
smoked until color was what I wanted like Tx1911 said:) In this case it was at 125 degrees. Wrapping in butter to ride it out until 160.
For some reason all my pics are sideways - strange and too lazy to correct:)
Just threw it back in - I'll update with results - if its as good as it looks - TX1911 just found a new best friend:) Get out there and bbq something today!

I hope you enjoy it! Turkey breast has become one of my absolute favorite things to smoke.
As far as the pictures, if you click them, they turn right side up. They only display up to a certain amount of pixels, and the site automatically adjusts them to whatever direction is needed to fit.

Sometimes everyone like something but I am critical because I know it can be better. Not the case here.....I knocked it outta the park. It was perfect.....Moist and the spg was all it needed. Perfect smoke ring.....No leftovers. Something about turkey and smoke.....very happy. Thanks Tx1911 for sharing......It was a top 5 .....It was that good...simple flavors balanced perfectly. A keeper.

Sounds like the recipe straight out of Aaron Franklin's book. The only way I ever cook a turkey boob anymore.

Pretty much is, I just make up my own brine and am adjusting the S&P to taste. Good eye.

I also like to tie mine. Keeps the thin parts from cooking too quickly and drying out.
