College Football Whatcha' Cookin'?

Postby bsooner75 » Sat Sep 02, 2017 7:34 am

Games get started in full today. Post your game day cooking pics here so we can see how you're kicking off the season.

We're having a pool party, dragging some TV's outside and smoking beef ribs & chicken.

Horn, Ag, Bear, Raider, Pony, Frog…whatever your allegiance, enjoy today. It's one of the best of the year!

BOOMER!

Wow..Very Very nice sooner :salut:
Let the games begin :D

My Huskies played last night. Weren't the best showing but they won.
Had another BBQ/bday party to attend last night so didn't get a chance to watch the game much but made some OkieSawbones ABTs for apps. As Russ would say, they where the bees knees. although I'm thinking maybe I didn't scrape the innards out of the Jalepanos enough...they had a really good bit of heat to them. They where all gone before dinner so I'm guessing the folks liked em.
I got a 14 lb brisket in the fridge Im going to do either tomorrow or Monday.
Fried chicken tonight
Gotta love these long weekends and our nice weather.

Not resting Russ…working! :)

We even invited some steers to the party…one to ride and one to eat :)

Heard they were already chunking stuff on the field in Austin…give the man a chance. They'll look like the 85 bears when they play OU.

Really had some fun with good food, friends and football today.

I am, ordering one now...didnt know they had them for the pool. Kids will destroy it in a weekend though, much like that inflatable slide you have in the other picture. Great cook, very tasty.

They've been $50 all summer. Academy has them on clearance for $12 so I couldn't pass. Had three kiddos (6 to 11) on it at once so it's pretty sturdy.

Food looks Awesome, SoonerMan, I'd even wear red and white for a plate of those goodies - - - but only while I was eating  :salut: :cow:

Haha, thanks OUP. We serve all. My buddy even showed up with a burnt orange cow on his shirt. He got a beef rib and rash of crap to go with it :) that's what makes CFB fun!
