Brisket Source DFW

Postby aking6341 » Mon Sep 04, 2017 12:38 pm

Tried Costco, Sams, and grocery stores. Looking to try a new source for brisket. Anyone know of another option for CAB, Prime, or upper choice in DFW?

No luck with Costco? Plano and Frisco usually have plenty…although $3.99 a lb on my last trip.

What I meant to say is I have tried all those other places. Had success with most but wanted to try something new.

Oh, gotcha!

What part of DFW are you in?

If you are looking for something from a butcher hit up Hirsch's in Plano or Old Town Meat Market in Lewisville

My new office is in Lewisville. I'll have to try out Old Town.

These folks have the "Meats". Pricey, but the only place i have ever found a 3" flat. Lots of competition cooks buy there. Seen Johnny Trigg there numerous times.
