Kingsford Professional
I recently bought a bag of Kingsford Professional and have used it twice, including currently as I type. I'm not real happy with it. Seems like it burns out too quick. With the regular Kingsford I can easily go more than two hours before having to start another batch, but with the Professional, I had to add more at about an hour 15. Anyone else have any experiences with it?

Re: Kingsford Professional
Steak Cooker Association has been giving bags away at there cook offs, they do burn up fast but have a hotter fire in my opinion. Great to start an offset , makes a great fire base.
How bout some more beans Mr.Taggert? I'd say you've had enough!

Re: Kingsford Professional
Kingsford used to be a sponsor to my stepsons Steak cook off team. They have since changed to Royal Oak which they say is a better product. They also have a professional/competition grade available as well. What you need to keep in mind is the goal for grilling steaks is a grate temp at least 600-700 degrees so that charcoal may be geared for those fast hot cooks and not really what BBQ is looking for.
