Easy smoked turkey

Postby Okie Sawbones » Sun Nov 26, 2017 10:59 am

20 lb. bird. Inject with Butcher's BBQ Bird Booster. Rub with a light coat of olive oil. Shake on your favorite rub. Smoke at 350 degrees for roughly one hour for each four lbs. When the breast hits 165 degrees, it's done. The juices literally ran when the bird was carved. Doesn't get much easier than that. I like easy. Family and friends said it was the best turkey ever, but then they tend to lie a lot. :laughing7:

I'm smoking a Turkey today and was planning on spatchcocking it, but after seeing this lovely bird I think maybe I'll leave her intact.

Thank OSB
