Smoked Hoisin Thighs

Postby woodenvisions » Sat Jan 13, 2018 9:07 pm

Decided to make some home made marinade for Hoisin Thighs.
Smoked over Apple Chunks about 2 hrs at 220/230,'then 450 to crisp the skin.
Paired with Pulled Smoked Chicken Penny Alfredo using the bird parts from last night.
Washed it down with some of the Home made Sangria, pretty tasty :)

Thx everyone,

I've had LOTS of Hoisin before. Some excellent, some very very forgettable.

These Thighs we're definitely one to do again :):)

WV, those looks beautiful! I myself have been trying to branch out a bit for more Asian options. You nailed it, sir!

I buy hoisin sauce from my local Asian shop, I use it mainly in marinades. Great for kebabs etc. I also use oyster sauce from the same shop.
