Haven't done a brisket in a while and yesterday was the perfect day to git er done! On the Okie Joe it went, rubbed down with 1836. Kingsford and mesquite provided the heat.
5 hours in at 225
Resting peacefully after 10ish hours
And sliced with some Kentucky Bourbon BBQ sauce
Love the color I got on this one. Think I owe that to the 1836 and low temp!

Might have been a while but you came back with a ROAR, Chef Pal, that looks FAN(which I am)TASTIC
I'm gonna pre-smoke/bark a Rump Roast today for finishing in the Crock Pot and I was planning on using SPG but I may just have to defect to 1836 now

Thanks, Em! You won't regret using it on that roast!
I use 1836 as a base for everything now! I'll adjust salt/sugar accordingly depending on the cook.

Thanks again! Been too busy lately and haven't really had any time left for much. If I'm not at work, I'm trying to sleep. Lol!
