Re: Easter Menu Thread
Eggs and asparagus for breakfast; a chicken 'n' scalloped taters for dinner. Don't rag on us too much!
PS: We did make some chocolates (cherry bombs). Maybe I should post a pic?

We like them also - - - the reason I asked is because that is going to be one of the meats that I have for my Son's Rehearsal Dinner - - - I also considered Zummo Party Links Very often what tastes good to me isn't what you call a majority "Opinion"

I'd have to do a taste test with Slovacek's. Those we get at Sam;s but I was a Wally World so went with Kountry Boys. If you actually wanted to go to a Market/Smokehouse there is Talent's in Riverside. They have several varieties of sausage & Links. Our Swamp Donkeyz is very familiar with Talent. Shouldn't be but about 50 miles from you.

DANG - - - thanks for the Heads Up - - - I will definitely make the drive to the Trinity Tallent's is just one of many places that my mind doesn't "recall" when needed - - - think I'll go score a few that they recommend and then let my Son and Future D.I.L. decide

Toubget Slovacek’s at Sam’s or did I read that wrong? I’m a big fan of Slovacek’s just have to wait until I’m in HEB country to find it.

Re: Easter Menu Thread
My wife picked up my brisket yesterday. I started buying them from the same guy who processes a lot of the local kids' FFA and 4H projects (Hogs, Goats, Lambs, etc.). He said the brisket I bought came from cows he just bought from the Houston Livestock Show. It had literally just been cut off the carcass. When I got home to inspect it and picked it up, it felt like I was holding a slinky. That is one tender piece of meat.
