Smoking in the rain

Postby TX1911 » Wed Mar 28, 2018 8:40 am

Had a request from my daughter's kindergarten teacher, so today, I'm bringing her group some chicken lollipops for lunch.

Prepped and dusted with clucker dust. Not the prettiest I've done, but it was 5:30.... :D

Nope, they're not pretty! They will be when I'm done though.

They're just drums with the tendons and whatnot severed, the skin removed from the knuckle, and all of the meat shoved down into a ball at the end.

Just got back. I really should have made a second pan. They smelled fantastic!

Chopped southwestern salad. Dressing on the side so things didn't get soggy.

So, they're upside down. Aaaaaand I can't figure out why. Anyway, they turned out really well, at least as far as I can tell. Hopefully they'll be enjoyed.

Nothing special today, but thanks for looking!

Mighty fine looking meal brother. :D
When you are bored whip up some and after they are smoked roll them in batter and deep fry them. :D
