Easter Prime Rib

Postby Swamp Donkeyz BBQ » Mon Apr 02, 2018 10:51 am

A local store had Prime Rib for $4.77/lb so I picked up an 8 pounder on Saturday and took it home with me. Trimmed it up, dry brined it for 24 hours, then coated it with jalepeno season all and 7 Bones beef rub, and put it in the offset at 225. Finished it off with a 500 degree sear in the Kamado and sliced it up. Turned out fantastic!!

EGAD LOOKIT THE SEAR ON THAT PUPPY. And the juice ran long and clear, like a spring rain down Bedias Creek.

Well done Donk, Happy Easter to you and the family.
