Ego stroke!!!

Postby JustinCouch » Mon Apr 30, 2018 2:01 pm

I brought some leftover brisket to a friend who used to own a restaurant. He said it was the best he had ever had. Either he has never had good brisket or i got real lucky.

Lucky or put the effort in and starting to bear the fruits of your labor? I think you’re figuring this bbq thing out my friend. Congrats!

Gotta agree with Bsooner. More likely it's "just" hard work and practice. Luck is opportunity met by preparation. Food will stay at that level or improve as long as you don't start coasting from here. ;) :salut: :chef:

Personally, I've learned a ton since coming here myself.

One good thing that, Sir Justin, has is that desire to succeed and it's paying off for him  :salut:
