Lump charcoal

Postby RUBYRW » Tue May 15, 2018 6:45 pm

What brand is best for lump?
I have been using cowboy brand and this stuff seems to burn out quick...coals die out and dont stay hot.
And not to mention all the tiny broken up pieces.

I personally like B&B. I’ve found many unidentifiable objects in Cowboy.

Lol...I agree...many times I pull stuff out of cowboy and ask my wife...what do you think this is...and that's no joke.

I have used western brand lump 3 times now. I am more than pleased. Plus I bought it for 9 dollars for 30 pounds!

B&B, Western, and Royal Oak work for me.

I've always found B&B to be more consistent, and easier to obtain in my area.

Do stores sell the chefs select or B&B char logs?
