BondoBill's passing...

Postby bondobill » Sun Jun 03, 2018 5:17 pm

Hey guys,
This is the family of Bill Maier, AKA BondoBill, AKA Wild Bill. We regret to inform you that Bill is no longer with us. He died suddenly of a heart attack on Friday while on vacation in Cancun with his wife Barb, and daughter Audrey and her husband. We know he loved chatting with you all on this forum, and we thought you all should know what happened. Bill's BBQ skills will be missed, and thank you for contributing to his passion.

I have just lost a dear friend and my heart is aching. My prayers and condolences go out to Wild Bill's Family and many Friends. We shared so many things thanks to the Forum and his friendship that will be missed.

That's a shame. Bill was a great guy. I think he was the first person to reply to my earliest posts. Always friendly and outgoing too. I didn't know him nearly as well as some folks here, but I'll miss him none the less.

My condolences and prayers are with you all. :(

It is a rare occasion when words escape me, and this is one. Bill's insight and presence will surely be missed. Prayers to your family.

I am very saddened to hear this, and along with the rest of our family here, would offer my most sincere condolences to Barb and the family. I very much enjoyed Bill’s sense of humor and his obvious love for his family and the beautiful expanses of Washington state. I recall the several pictures he sent us, including the tulip fields. To us Bill was a man of good cheer and a solid citizen. He will be well remembered and much missed, as was the Chileman before him. In fact, I expect Chileman with have a fresh pair of overalls waiting for him after St Peter lets him through the gates.

Thanks to your family for sharing him with us.

Lower the flags to half mast, boys.
