Attempts to keep clean palatable and tasty blue , wispy smoke. From what I can tell it is a technique I will use when I add wood splits and new charcoal. Actually ended up preferring it’s effects while attached to the exhaust

This Fan now spends 95% of its time on the exhaust stack and 5% and perhaps less at the firebox end.
It’s a nice tool to have for my purposes and dirt cheap!
