First bbq in the new home!

Postby Txdragon » Sat Oct 06, 2018 6:07 pm

It has been a LONG week with the move. Frustrated on a couple things, nothing too bad but still enough to cuss at.. Today was a day to fire up the pit for the first cook on my own property!
Pork spares x2. About 3 ish hours in so far..

On another note, I've got the area cleared out for the sheep and chickens. Once I get the coop built, I'll put some pics up!

Second most stressful thing in your life....moving. Nearly cost me my marriage 30 years ago. Hope you settle in well. Look forward to pics of your spread.

For real! Hoping to throw down a brisket cook in a week or so and invite the neighbors.

Thanks! 13 years with my first wife and we had almost nothing to show for our efforts.. 3 years into this marriage and we've bought a house. Life is a cruel teacher..

Thank ya, amigo! I'd have to disagree though. There is something worse.. Packing and unpacking. Lol!!

Oh dear! That's a harsh move. Lol! I got a good deal of cleanup done in my "barnyard". Cleared all the vines and ivies from the fence and gave it all a good inspection. Only minor fence work to be done and it's ready for animals!
