another turkey

Postby CaptJack » Fri Nov 23, 2018 3:28 pm

another turkey ;)
Aldi is selling their thawed turkeys for .59¢#
sooo i'm going to just put it on the OldSmokey and cook it straight
no brine, no seasoning
strip the meat and bag it for the freezer
the breast for future sandwich meat
the dark meat for future soups
and the bones for more stock

I cooked 2 as well. But that is art work right there to be able to do that kind of cook on an old smokey with the success that you always have.

Looks good Captain. My wife grabbed one of the $.59 jobs at Kroger earlier. Probably cook it Sunday.

Looking fantastic. I want a piece!
Kinda indulged myself a bit lately because I bought a set of touren wheels and toyo tires. Ready for more road trip.
