STL Ribs

Postby Smoking Piney » Fri Jan 25, 2019 4:49 pm

It's been almost 2 months since I've had the time to get something on the smoker...the Assassin hasn't been feeling the love.

I'm a bachelor on a 3 day weekend and I decided to kick it off with ribs. STL racks rubbed with Oakridge Competition and on the Assassin at 275 for almost 4 hours with a load of hickory chunks for smoke. They are sauced with Yes Dear BBQ Competition sauce.

It's been a while since I've cooked ribs and I was needing some. These rocked. :D

Life is good! :D

Nice looking ribs, When the wife and kids go to her moms house for a week I do the same thing, but I start out with a small prime rib and will eat on it for a few days.

Thanks, folks! :D

My wife made me promise to keep a half rack back for her when she gets home today. I'm trying to stay out of them. :D
