I must be getting old.. I remember brisket at $0.12 per pound and if it was not sold the store owner would feed it to his dogs :laughing7: :dont:

I don’t remember that far back but I have bought many at .49,.79, and .99

back in "those days" it was considered dog food, no one bought it, from time to time I would be instructed to mix it in with the hamburger, but cut some of the fat out :laughing7:

I am going with a smaller wagyu so I can finish earlier and I can rest it enough before dinner tomorrow night.....

Tossed these in as well...didn’t want prime drippings over Wagyu so pulled out the rack and up went the brisket...

Just wrapped up the big girl... just past 8 hrs in. Plenty of bark...

I’m doing a swap for a pork rack from my friend/neighbor/boss for the small beef rack...

4hrs more hours for the ribs... I’ll check brisket then..
