Thank You For The Lessons

Postby CookinWithWood » Sat Aug 24, 2019 6:48 pm

So I'm on vacation up in Michigan to visit my daughter and do some camping and I happened to run into a fellow smoker. I saw him starting his kamado egg about midnight last night and I knew he was one of us.

I finally caught him outside his camper this afternoon and my brother and I talked with him about smoking for at least 30 minutes. He was a nice, genuine guy, and we all talked about different meats, and woods, and smokers.

It was nice to put all the things I have learned from you pros over the last 6 months into practice as we talked, and keep up with his great knowledge. So it might not get said enough, but thank you to everyone for all the help, keep up the good work!!

It's always great to run into a fellow bbq enthusiast. I feel like I bore my family and friends to death when I talk specific about bbq. They just want to eat it and don't care much about how it's made, lol.
