Sorry Greg, just saw this . they are still in Rut here but not as insane as it was last week . I've got a mature 6 I'm wanting . I've only seen him twice , both times right at dark so he's smart . He's 16-18" and HEAVY ; I'm guessing the main beams to be 20". He won't score much on a B&C system but he is a unique Trophy IMHO .

Is that fried cornbread ? Mom used to do leftover mashed taters that looked exactly like those. :dont:

I really don't knw what to call it . I took a can of whole kernel corn, some cornmeal , flour and eggs and worked it until it got tacky

OK, when you mentioned the can of corn, it reminded me of what Mom used to call Corn Pone Fritters and the Family loved them too :tup:
