Gifting Ribs

Postby Smoking Piney » Wed Dec 25, 2019 8:01 am

I smoked a couple of racks of ribs and sent one over to my most awesome neighbor as a gift. This was a good run. :D

Thanks, folks. It's been a nice, relaxing day. Santa was good to me, and I have a rib roast on the Assassin for tonight, but that's another thread. :D

I did something similar. My wife''s sis had to fly in from back east to tend to her mother after she suffered a stroke. She stayed with us and just returned home on Dec 28. Her hubby loves my bbq ribs. So, I thought I send some home with her when she flew back.

I used my new RecTec Bull Santa brought me for these.

Once they were done and cooled, my wife, a.k.a. FoodSaver Sally, vacuum packed a little over 2 racks of them.

I did my usual John Henry rub and KCM sauce that he likes and also tried some of the RecTec rubs and some Dave's sauces mixed.

Got the thanks yesterday from her hubby.

The Betty Crocker cookbook was named Joy of Cooking

The BBQers Joy comes from smokin, and sharing your efforts
