morning brisket

Postby JaCK2U2 » Sat Mar 08, 2008 7:40 am

Got a 12 lb. brisket yesterday. Injecteds with beef broth, Vickers marinade, with onion and garlic powder mixed in. Some Worch. sauce and Harleys rub this AM. In the BWS at 6:30.
Beef ribs a little later. A fatty for a snack, a few brews, and I've got this day made!

Got some ABT's ready to go on in a couple of hours. Sausage thawing for a fatty to join the ABT's. Good buy on the JC Potter - 3-1lb chubs for $5.
Need something to get me by until the ribs and brisket finish.
Still have ice outside.......BWS chugging along at 230--

Just got the ribs ready - salt, pepper and garlic over Worch. sauce. On the smoker at 10:45. ABT's and fatty next.

Time for ABT's and fatty. Used pimentos, japs and cheddar in fatty. Brisket at 156 - ribs looking good! HUNGRY! Drinking beer in the meantime!

Only brisket I have is the one from last week. Plus side, though, is it's already smoked and sliced.

Guess what's on the menu for lunch.
