Told her I'd make something nice for dinner tonight. We won a meat pack at our local last night in the raffles. I froze everything except the lamb rack. Marinaded it overnight in Worcester sauce fish sauce and juice of 1 orange. Seared it top and bottom then mustard and mint and breadcrumb mix. Cooked n served with veges from wife's garden, beans corn new potatoes. Made a sauce from marinade. It was 10/10 she said.

Bill I don't know if you have access to kiwi lamb, it's definitely better than ozzy lamb. I've cooked both lots.our lamb is fed on lush green paddocks, Australia a lot more arid.

Thanks wv.

Russ, most all American lamb is grain, not grass feed
it tastes a lot more like beef than Southern hemisphere grass feed

Yeah and in oz as well in places.we are spoilt for lush green paddocks here for sure. A bit like the welsh lamb that graze near the sealine eating samphire, it gives lamb a real salty flavour.
