Well aint never had trouble with a tough bite on the casings with collogen but aint never tried a fast hot grilling with it either. Sounds logical that it wouldnt work as well as guts. Ok let us stick with guts for fast grilled stuff. That should work:)

Nopers aint never had the inedible variety. Have bought a few of the fibrous baloney and summer sausage casings. They real proud of them things at about a buck apiece last I bought some. Or maybe it the same critter as the inedible collogen just called by a different name. It definitely aint edible and comes in the color brown or maybe mahagony (sic).
