The Flank crash

Postby daBertl » Mon Jan 21, 2019 3:30 am

Yesterday I wanted to do some Flank Parmigiana. So I did until the point, as my severe stupidity hit me.
So let´s see what happened.

The cornbread was excellent. Unfortunately I do not have Fotos from it´s interior because soon the little accident happened

At this point the things started going wrong.

As I always do in the cold season, I heated up the plate on top of the grill

Image

In a short state o mental derangement I lifted the top of my Summit without removing the plate.
So the next thing for me to do was to clean the pool area of the broken pieces. It was darned cold and I had stiff fingers after that. But it was not enough. The next was that I wanted to put out my sexy parmigiana. With my cold fingers I lost it and it turned around with the tomato and cheese top on the grill. So my Summit was full of cheese and tomato mud and my parmigiana looked as ugly as I never made before.

I hate it if I´m stupid so I wanted to throw all that bullshit into the trash but my family was hungry and they wanted to eat the ugly beef.
So I have only some fotos left, because I´m still angry now for destroying a very good piece of food.

Thanks a lot! Fortunately it was the worst yesterday although at that point of time, it was really bad for me.
But for sure you are right, that there are Billions of worse things outside :D

If that's what you call a BooBoo, then I'd be happy to serve as your Food Disposal were you not across the Pond. :dont: :salut:

We are our worst critics. I have done something like that and completely got peaved at myself for the rest of a day. When I look back I realize it was relatively minor. Trust me, my stupid gets in the way A LOT :)

After shipping that BooBoo to you, it couldn´t be more ugly

edit:
Buit you just have to see, how beatiful and mouthwatering it would have looked, if it went the normal way from here

The Cheese would melt down the slim tomato crust and cover the first cut of the perfect done Flank steak. :chef: :rose:

Funny: I videoed something on my phone the other day and announced I had “ filmed it”. The Grandkids looked at me with a puzzled look and my wife started laughing. Showing our age
