Burgers 10 feet away!

Postby bsooner75 » Fri May 22, 2020 7:02 pm

Well, I measured my 10 feet and fired up the grill for the first time at the apartment. Got a special delivery of Wagyu burgers from Local Yocal. They were good. Seasoned with SPG.

Yes, okra was involved and it got hit with Sucklebusters Lemon Pepper Garlic. Great combo. I may or may not have used the ironing board as a prep table…

Y’all stay safe.

LMAO. My Okra Buddy. I’ve got about 24 in the ground if they make it. I’ll be pickling them when they get about 3 1/2” long which equates to 8 & 1/2” on the Old Girlfriend scale

I need to pickle some. These were pretty good size too.

A little closer. We can be at Lake Texoma in about 45 minutes

Thanks Toby. I was at work and a friend texted and asked if I wanted some so they picked them up for me.

Great burgers.

If I'd put all that stuff on the ironing board my wife would put me out of grilling. Risking spilling fat on the board. But it's among the best things I've seen to use the board for.

LOL - if you notice the ironing board was in the garage…that tells you how often it’s used

I haven't grilled any okra yet. Think I'll have to try that this summer.

Thanks y’all!

Grilled okra is really easy. Just toss it in oil with some seasoning and either skewer it or toss it in a grill basket and grill it till it’s done to your liking. I hit it with a little extra seasoning when it take it off the grill.
