Was at Academy the other day and bought a cast iron griddle for the CG at a much better price than CG wants for theirs.
Got to wondering, do you have a griddle and if so, what all do you use it for?

I'm with Laura. I don't own one, so I can't use one. I've looked at 'em a few times, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Honestly, I'm not sure at the moment how often I'd use it.

My gasser has a griddle on the left, grates on the right. Also has a WOK thing. All are cast iron and are interchangeable. I use the griddle when ever I make fajitas as the onions and peppers can't go anywhere! Also, toasts buns and makes a good warming plate.

I said No.
I have a couple griddles, but I don't use em for grillin...perfect for breakfast though. My favorite is a CI griddle on one side, and grill pan on the other side, but I only use that on the stove.
I want the smoke to really hit whatever I have on the grill.... not to mention the wasp of grease smoke when the fat drips down onto the coals.
