Need Help Finding Lost Recipe

Postby Larry M » Sun Apr 16, 2017 11:51 am

About 3 years ago I came across a recipe on a bulletin board for a grilled chicken that my wife loved. Unfortunately in a move the recipe was lost. I have been searching for it to no avail and hope that someone on the board will be able to recognize the description and point me in the right direction. Here is what I remember. It used a marinade that contained pineapple juice and a BBQ sauce (maybe Sweet Baby Ray) along with other ingredients. you cooked the marinade and with part of it you marinaded the chicken and the other part you used to baste the chicken until close to the end of the griolling and then you put the chicken in a disposable pan with the marinade and finished the cooking . The post I saw gave not only the recipe for the marinade , but also specific cooking instructions. I would very much appreciate any help y'all can point me to and my wife will appreciate it even more.

See if this looks familiar, if I were doing this, would use Noh brand authentic Hawaiian Barbecue sauce. Spicy variety. Great stuff, really from the islands.

Lol, my wife hates seafood pineapple chicken nibbles pork ( except ham) and a few other things. I can live with most, just sometimes I cook for myself. And it's cheap shopping for seafood for 1 lol.

After 40 years married she won't change. :whiteflag: :whiteflag:

that is as Down Home of a Pic as it gets, Sir Chris, could those possibly be Texas Live Oaks that are watching over the setting :?:  :salut:

Where did you get that little table that the small Kettle is on?

Yes sir!! I love them! My house and deck are completely shaded all day! I got the table from Amazon. It is made by Weber and is made to lock that little Jumbo Joe on to it. I usually just use it for a side table but it is really convienant since the legs come off and easy to pack around.
