Wading in Uncharted Pellets ?
Lots of "first times" for me this morning with a Stuffed, Bacon Wrapped and Pelletized 3# Pork Rib Loin.
1. I've never done anything on the Pit Boss except Ribs.
2. I've never cook a Pork Loin in any fashion.
3. I've never stuffed anything this large.
4. I've never bought, eaten or used Peppered Bacon.
5. I've never drizzled Bourbon on a BBQ meat.
After it's finished I may just slice it for sammiches OR it just might get accompanied by a baked Tater and Salad.
This is the Video I used for a guide but I tweeked it with SuckleBusters Hootchie Mama and with glaze with SB's Chipotle Sauce.

THE Stuff
Preparation
On the Pit Boss at 250 and will check I.T. in an hour or so. Using B & B Hickory Pellets this time.
Final Pics later

Did lid lift and visual after 65 min at between 250 and 280 - - - moved the "P" to the hotter setting and now I'll check the I.T. after the second hour. The Video dude did his at 300 and said it took about an hour and 20 minutes but I'm cooking lower and slower and am getting lots of smoke so hopefully that will pay off with a decent smoke ring also.

me too, Sailor, here it is after 2 hours at 250 to 280 - - I increased the Dial to 300 and will probably be slathering with SBs Chipotle after 30 minutes and then slather and check temp until I get at least 145 I.T.

First Chipotle glaze coat at 300 (2 1/2hrs in Pit) and things are happening fast now. I'll probably pull it in 10 minutes after the glaze sets a little bit.

OK, I'm finished and very pleased as is the Wiffy - - - now we're waiting on the Yam to finish baking and will slice a few Neighbor Maters and "Dinnah will be Swerved" I will do this again, my Friends.
I think that for supper dis ennin and to take my ennin meds with, I'll just suck on these strangs and wash it down with a brew.
(thanks for your patience with this play by play thread - - - it was a fun and successful cook)

Re: Wading in Uncharted Pellets ?
thanks (confession time) I did forget to remove the "Willie Pin" at the tapering end but I found it with my carving knife and not my mouth. I don't usually cook a lot of "sweet" food but this was a very nice change and I'm back on the Wiffy's Hero list - - - at least for this morning but I'm sure it's only temporary .
