Lumped up Shrimp

Postby woodenvisions » Wed Jul 05, 2017 9:08 pm

So it's been wayyyyy too long since we've had any type of seafood, so yesterday I picked up 4 lbs of shrimp. 2 #'s of 26/30 and 2 #'s of 16/20.
So after an hour of peeling and de veining , tonight it was the 26/30 in the new spring loaded gadget that was staring at me in ShopRite...

It worked excellent and actually fit on the Akorn with the lid shut with the plastic handle completely outside, so that was a big bonus
Mixed up some mayo, srirachi and sweet chili sauce, scallions and dressed the shrimp after a few minutes on the grill.
Have some fresh sea scallops and bacon for tomorrow, so good thing the cholesterol levels is the best it can be !

I will have to investigate the srirachi ??? First. I've heard of it but not seen it. Maybe tomorrow when I'm at my local supermarket.

If ur not a fan of HEAT, use caution !

It's weird, I've had different brands of Srirachi, some are hot and others are HOT !

Either way, it's good stuff Imho
Good luck

Those really do look great. I have never done any seafood other than cedar plank salmon on a grill. I need to broaden my horizons.

I've been thinking about some shrimp. Now it's a must! I even have some SB sriracha on the way.

Great meal!
