No wonder we've made it 35 years

Postby bondobill » Tue Jul 11, 2017 11:37 am

Missus and I celebrated our 35th on the 9th of July.
That morning I asked her whether see wanted to go out for dinner or stay home.
She chose staying home. :D I then asked her what see would like for dinner..she said steak. :D :D
I ran to town quick and picked her up her fav cut Tenderloin and myself a nice big bone in Ribeye.
She likes Gators steak seasoning but this time wanted her old fav Montreal
I went for Gators on mine.

Did the reverse sear on the kettle with Kingsford briquettes and a couple small chunks of Hickory
Resting piecefully

The other thing she wanted on the menu

Yup....looks like we may stay together for a while longer ..Lord willing :D :D :D :D

35 is a long time nowadays, young ones have no idea of working at a relationship. I told my kids when they were in their teens, look for a partner who has both parents that are still together. Your wife did exactly what my wife would say, quiet night at home.
Congrats to both of you.

Mind ya ....it aint been all hunkydory since we've been together. We've had more then a few arguments but no matter how POd we are at each other it never carries over to the next morning :D

Congrats, hope its 35 headed for 50...

Once you've invested 5, might as well go the distance.

This year will be 24 fer me and Mrs Boots. Still ridin the ridgelines and the valleys together. Always thought the easy girls were boring. It's like the old movie line, we Texans like a little vinegar w our greens.

The wife threatened to leave me once, I said, you can't, we're only half way through the roller coaster ride. Lol.
