Just wondering. Is Swiss Chard bitter like collards? Do you add any sweetener when you cook it?

I don't find it bitter. It really does taste like a cross between beets 'n' spinach, but sometimes I add a teaspoon of brown sugar to the finishings, to balance the onion/garlic sautee I start with.
