Just fried some oysters and lit the grill for some steaks and pork tenderloin.

Pics or not I can imagine how good that surf and turf was  :salut: I had a friend that loved to grill his Oysters but I was always a half shell raw dipped in horseradish sauce feller UNTIL I because intolerant to bi-valves, or whatever you call oysters, mussels, clams and etc :dont:

I've had oysters from a lot of places but bluff oysters are the best so fr, it's near invercargill at the bottom of the South Island. My fave is a small bowl of malt vinegar sprinkled with lots pepper and dip oysters in raw and eat. Heaven.

You sound like my wife, she can't even stand the sight of them, lol. I also batter and deep fry if I'm got guests I want to treat.

before I became intolerant I would eat several dozen of them on the half shell Raw, Cold and covered in Sauce - - - - sometimes, if they were big fresh ones, just Raw with nuttin and then drink the liquid from the shell :laughing7:
