Mo Chillin than Grillin

Postby OldUsedParts » Wed Aug 23, 2017 3:01 pm

The Wiffy had planned on taking me out to eat for my Birthday but I could tell that her mobility was really messing with her so I asked if we could just wait. Whether it will be tomorrow or the next day can only be decided tomorrow or the next day. :dont:

Anyhow, all this came down around 2pm and my tummy was growling so I water thawed some shrimps, fired up some Kingsford in the Kettle, skewered and Sprinkled with some Suckle Busters Gator's Cajun Seasoning (which Wild Bill and I call Gas Mask Sprinkles) - - - one whiff and YOU WILL TAKE A BREAK from whatever you are doing. :whiteflag:

Grilling only took a few minutes and then it was time for my Roasted Salsa, a couple of Guererro torts and some Pepper Jack to be joined by the chopped up shrimp and it was "Bone Apple Tight Time" Only negative was that I sure hate walking away from such nice hot coals that are begging for something to cook.

Don't tell Outlaw but the more I use that Roasted Salsa the closer I am to planning a much larger batch in the NEAR FUTURE :dont:  :banghead: :whiteflag:

I see shrimp peekin' out!

(Might be just me, but I'd wrap a potato and a pepper or three in foil and throw 'em on the coals. Or any species of foil packaged edibles.)
Moink!

Sailor, I almost whooped up some ABTs but just opted to call it Lunch and watch the ashes slowly go away.

Good Word, Russ Pard

Don't have to worry about me brother, I'm pleased to see you take off and go on your own. My recipe is just that, mine. Now you know what I do and you are waaaaaay more cook than me so I can only imagine what you come up with. My only warning to you is you will never be satisfied with store bought again. I'm meeting my best friend for lunch today at a Mex Inn and already have the jar of salsa ready to take with me. Get some strang looks from some waiters, but not after they get a taste. 8) 8) 8)

You're very modest oup. Don't think I've seen a bad cook from you yet.
