BACON!!!!!

Postby bsooner75 » Sun Aug 27, 2017 10:49 am

Took our first shot at bacon. I say our because my 11 yr old daughter helped w/ this project as she is a bacon junkie :) I was just happy she showed interest!

Maple brine, cured 7 days, smoked over hickory in Blue then finished off on the Blackstone griddle. We will definitely do this again.

Any place you could recommend to source the belly? That one has great meat to fat ratio. How can you tell when buying belly?

Now all you gotta do is slice it thick, batter and deep fry it, then cover it with some spicy melted cheese!!!
