Marked bird

Postby Sailor Kenshin » Sun Aug 27, 2017 5:25 pm

Gotta have grill marks!

Simple Sunday grillerated chicken thighs, one batch marinated in Italian dressing, the other in Q-sauce. Scorched on the Mini-Q but patted DRY first (probably the key to grill marks).

Also: The Remains of the Beans (served when we fed a drop-in friend grilled Italian sausage on brioche buns), and of course, Nuketater Salad.

I hope everyone's safe and it stays that way. :texas:

Looks larapin :salut:  - - - 'however' as far as grill marks are concerned, it has become obvious to me that I now have a use for my old soldering iron then "I'll show Y'all some Redneck Grill Marks" :laughing7:

Looks like a magazine pic. Nice work.

OUP - soldering idea is a better bet than your last idea of using a Sharpie :)

That's a great idea!

Maybe we can kick it up a notch and use a Soldering Gun!

We don't even have a box on hand now. Ooo, maybe I should add it to the shopping list. :laughing7:

Thanks, everyone.
