Grill Baked Cheesy Chicken Penny Rigata

Postby woodenvisions » Wed Oct 25, 2017 6:58 pm

Was thinking it's been a while since we went on a Pasta and Cheese kick, so tonight I took some boneless breasts, threw them on the Black Stone with Olive Oil, Sucklebusters Hog Waller and Tony Chachere's and grilled till about 85% cooked.
Sauteed some Cremini Shrooms and set them aside as well.
Heated some butter, flour and chunked up fresh garlic in a cast, then added 6 cups of Whole Milk and simmered till it thickened.
Then threw in 1 & a half cups of Fresh Provolone and 1/2 cup Fresh Grated Parmesan.
Added the Penny Rigata, Chicken and Shrooms and topped with more Grated Parmesan and a Triple Cheddar mix.

Threw it in a foiled pan and on the Akorn over Lump at 400 for 30 minutes.

CHEESE OVERLOAD.......ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

It's official. Without a doubt, I hate you. :x :x Not as a person mind you, just as an early morning poster. :dont: :dont: I come in here and sit down with my first cup, fire up my forums to get my daily fix, and I see another post from you. With your long history of amazing cooks I should know better than open it that early. Look at the heading, how bad could that be?? Grill baked cheesy Chicken Penny Rigata. Since this is a BBQ forum I consider everything with pasta a side dish so this should be safe to look at. WRONG!!!!! I don't even like stuff like this, pasta is just an economical way to feed large families. Thanks a lot WV. Now I have to rethink all my preconceived notions about pasta. :salut: :salut:   :chef: :chef:

GRails, Sooner and Russ..

Thx guys, just a little carbs for the middle of the week to get us to the weekend..

Outlaw,
I'd rather be hated for a good reason than a bad one, and I actually post late at night when we ( finally ) get to eat dinner so I can't take credit for being an early morning breakfast ruiner :):)

Williep,
It was pretty good, Thanks :):)
Maybe next time I'll use a little less cheese.
I still feel it sticking to my ribs :)

No no woody, your coming here. Is snows up there in the nocopo's. But at 51 I am mostly potty trained now, (I still pee behind the garage a lot). And my behaviour issues have vastly improved over the years as well. Unfortunately I do not do dishes well, although I am good at licking bowls and utensils clean, and can put them back in the cupboard then. I have 2 spare bedrooms ready for ya'll.

I got a good laugh at that :)
I've been around snow all my life, so I'm used to it. It's the sub zero temps and 40 mph wind gusts that seem to claim vacancy on top of this mountain between late December and early April that I don't care for.

I'm only 3 years behind ya bud. Yeah, paper plates and cups are looking pretty good right about now aren't they lol...

Yeah you can have that snow. I spent the first 18 years of my life in that stuff. Never again. You keep posting photos like those and I may have to show up down at Eggheads. It doesn't snow down there.
