Postby Canadian Smoker » Fri Feb 16, 2018 2:46 pm

Did a spatchcocked chicken for dinner yesterday....
rubbed up with Birds and Bones and cooked indirect on my bge at 375-400 degrees for an hour and a half....
homemade slaw and some mashed taters.

Spatchcocked is my fav way of doing a whole bird. Yours look great, CS :salut: :chef:
On your IPhone photos. take your photos holding the phone horizontally. For what ever reason if you take them with the phone vertical they'll show up here sideways.

That is a good looking bird. Did you flip it at any point to get some crisp on the skin?

I was skin side up for the first hour and flipped it over for the last half hour.

Great Bird and Great Plate, C.S. - - - if you'll reduce the pixel size the pics will show correctly - - - so if they are in a folder just go there and reduce them. Then you can post them again if you want to. :salut:
