Chicken Saturday

Postby JustinCouch » Sat Mar 17, 2018 2:34 pm

Wish me luck guys. I went out on a limb and bought split breasts and leg quarters for today. I can't remember the last time I cooked either one. At least they were on sale.

Forgot to ask. Should I use the weber or the highland? Kind of scared of using the highland because from what I remember chicken breasts are supper easy to dry out. I made a makeshift brine but they will be in the solution for less than 5 hours.

The chicken came out great. The brine was the best thing in the world for the breasts. I haven't tried the leg quarters yet. In feeling a little under the weather. Time to self medicate.

Looks good.

For a second I thought you marinated in cough medicine :)

Get well!
