After cooking salmon do you thoroughly clean everything if not do you find the grill has a fishy smell and adds a fishy taste to everything?

I refuse to cook any fish in my offset or BGE only because I am scared of leaving behind fishy oily grates or ceramics.....I only cook fish on my gasser if I have to....but thats just me. :D
