Thanks WV :D
The Halibut I soaked in buttermilk for a few hours. It had been in the freezer going on two years. I was pleasantly surprised when I took it out of the vac bags and no fishy smell.
Halibut and Salmon both got a coat of evoo prior to seasoning. Halibut was sprinkled with SPG,lemon pepper and paprika.
Salmon was marinated for a hour in Yoshidas. It got a light rub of brown sugar then a liberal dose of Johnnys Seasoning salt and Lemon pepper.
Once off the grille they both got some melted butter.

Hard to get any better fish than that halibut Bill. I have a friend that brings a bunch of it back from Alaska every year.
