Pastrami

Postby daBertl » Sat May 26, 2018 1:19 pm

Sometimes it overcomes me for making some Pastrami. Buying Pastrami is forbidden, because it tastes like ..... I don´t know how to say :D
So i bought some beef and made as I´m used my own pastrami New York Style.

For that i seasoned it for about 6 days.

Like this it went to the fridge for about 6 days. 4 days would be enough, but I did not have the time to go on after 4 days :D

So after that Time i watered it twice for put out the Salt, then i let it dry for another half hour and then i seasoned it again.

So i put it on the Grill until a Inside Temperature of 68 degrees Celsius. But this time it was not really working, so I had a 3 hour Plateau at 58 degrees and then I wanted to got to bed
So I just let it for some hours with 58 an put from the Grill in the Morning

At this point it is a difficult thing for not to try it, but it must go again to the fridge for at least 4 days.

So i was superhorny today in the morning for my supersexy Pastrami

Of course I was referring to the Reuben Sammich.
I've always found that creation one of the best ever.
Talk about Universal:
Created in America
Using Rumanian Meat
German Topping of Kraut
Swiss Cheese
And an Israeli name

Yes Sir! Great looking pastrami. :D

From the pics, I'm guessing you have a decent slicer....the slices look great.

I have a cheap one and can't get my slices thin enough...and that's kinda important for pastrami.
