Back in the saddle

Postby TX1911 » Wed Jun 13, 2018 8:34 pm

We have been very blessed to have had friends and neighbors bringing us meals most every night since Catherine was born. That finished up a few days ago, so we are cooking for ourselves again

Randall's special choice bone in ribeye (think I snagged it for $5.99/lb). Seasoned well with 1836 (of course!)

On for a reverse sear.

And off to rest. It didn't sear as much as I like, but it worked.

Just right, and with some veggies!

And the obligatory baby picture....she's growing!

She’s a little buttercup. They do grow fast. Seems only yesterday that Boots Jr was driving his little electric Jeep around, now it’s a full size Honda and off to college in August. Enjoy that time brother.
