Suckle Bustin Sunday Hasselback and Reebeyes

Postby OldUsedParts » Sun Jul 15, 2018 2:45 pm

Altho I still haven't scored a Tater Tricky Slicer, I managed to do one by hand and later found out that's what most people do. NO I'm not saying I'm normal.
I still have a lot to learn about the toppings/stuffings but it's a start. Also roasted some Brussel Sprouts while the charcoal was getting hot and the "Fragile" Ribeye was grilling. I really like those B.S.s Roasted in EVOO and SPG.

Is this Brussel Sprouts?
One of my favourite vegetables. Looks perfect

I love Brussells sprouts. Gotta try that when it's not 95° with 95% humidity...or maybe try the Air Fryer!

Mom used to make accordion taters by putting the spud in the bowl of a wooden spoon, then slicing partway through.

I used the handles of two wooden spoons on either side to stop the knife - - - only thing I'll do different next tme is get a nice Red Tater instead because the peeling on that Idie-ho was pretty tuff and chewy altho the center was soft and tasty. :dont:

Exactly the way I do mine too, just another wee tip. Find the flattest spot on the tatter and cut a thin sliver off, then turn it upside down. It keeps it flat and stops it moving.
