Shrimp En Brouchette

Postby OldUsedParts » Fri Aug 03, 2018 12:51 pm

First time for me to fix the Shrimp En Brouchette and they are a lot of trouble but worth it in the end.
Side was also a firstie for me with the Sauteed Swiss Chard.
Here's a kinda play by play, FWIW
Par-Boil a large Jalapeno

Julie Anne into long strips

Butterfly some large Shrimp

Place a Jalapeno Strip in the butterfly and then wrap with bacon

Secure it with two skewers and continue adding shrimp. I also dusted with Suckle Busters Hootchie Mama cause I likes it very much.

Be sure and leave space between them for all around cooking of the bacon.
I then placed them directly over hot coals for 6 minutes

Did the first flip to check their progress, knowing that I might have to flip them back to finish

After I get the bacon on both sides to my liking then I place a thin strip of Monterey Jack on each one.

Grill until cheese is sufficiently melted

Plate with some Hootchie Mama Butter or Marie Leveauxs VooDoo Juice

If there's room then top it off with a piece of Peanut Butter Pie

And NOW a word from our Sponsor:
