Celebrating my family today and have to use the Weber gas unfortunately

Postby Copasspupil » Sun Aug 19, 2018 12:21 pm

Grilling today with the smoke in the air and the no fire band still on, I have to grill with the Weber so today is the last Sunday with my oldest before she heads back to college. I’ve got two pork tenderloins and have been marinating since yesterday: sucklebusters on one and a chipotle berry marinate for the other. Grilled walls walls onions, some zucchini and squash, sucklebusters rubbed sweet potatoes and Yukon potatoes. The wife gets her garlic and rosemary potatoes(gluten free) and a Caesar salad. Cheesecake with a fruit salad side for dessert. Should be a good one.

Prep pics minus the pork as they are in two ziplocks. Apparently not enough potatoes they say.

Gonna Be Larapin :salut: - - - are the toothpicks just to hold the own-yawns together during flipping ?

Yes on the toothpicks. They keep them together and the Johnny seasoning is excellent with them. I’d guess any seasoned salt would work, but the sweet and salty works with the onions. Just have to grill them long enough.

The sweet potatoes get crispy on the outside and soft on the inside but the sucklebusters with it are very good. I’m using their bbq pork one.

Just grill them. I will eat the skins but the misses will not.
