Beef roast and whiskey flambe.

Postby Norway Joe » Sun Sep 02, 2018 1:39 pm

Made a beef roast today. Turned out great. Served with brocolli from the grill and whiskey sauce.

Stole a little trick from Boots tri tip post and burned the roast in whiskey at the end. Most for show but also to burn the roast a little on the outside.

The broccoli dish is my favourite way of making broccoli. Cut small "flowers" of broccoli in a pan. Drizzle over sea salt, minced garlic and olive oil. Set the grill to 500 degrees, indirect heat for 12-15 min. Keep and eye on it. The broccoli shall be a little burned on the edges. Much better than steamed or boiled broccoli imo.
