Since my wife decided we should have burgers for dinner, I decided to be a copycat and try to make a burger similar to the el Reno burger from Ric's YouTube channel. Here's a link to his video:
https://youtu.be/tuxRxtb5Rr
I don't have a Blackstone (yet) but I see why I need one. This was a very tasty burger. I didn't have the spices Ric used so I used what I had from SB.
Since I don't have a Blackstone I used the iron pan from Weber. Worked ok but a little small.
I blended in som SPG in the meat. Basted the patties with SB chipotle sauce and sprinkled with hoochie mama.
The burgers was very juicy and tasteful.
Thanks for showing us this in your YouTube channel, Ric.

Joe, those burgers look great. We’ll work on getting everything sorted out for your blackstone after Easter. I also saw ric’s Video and his looked very good as well. I would swap out the jalps for some garlic butter mushrooms.

They look as amazing as the Originals do.
For your Summit there is a black iron plate which fits perfekt.
I normaly use this on the Summit and smaller ones on the other grills. Works same I think

Re: Copy of Ric's El Reno Jalapeno burger.
Thank you guys.
We're not eating much Jalapenos here so I wanted to try them on the burger.. My wife and I liked it, my kids thought it was a little hot, but they ate it.
Greg: take your time and do this when you feel you have time for it.
Daberti: I used to have that plate in my previous Weber. I wasn't so found of it because it takes up to much space. It's heavy to move and cumbersome to wash. I like this round plate. Easier to handle.
I was a little worried at the start because I felt there was too little space for the burgers, onions and the jalapenos in the pan, but it worked.
As we say: as long as there's no cow on the ice.
