Cleaned the grill and then some hot dogs

Postby Norway Joe » Wed Apr 17, 2019 7:49 am

Finally we can work outside with water without freezing our fingers.52f so time to get the shorts on. Needed to clean the grill after the winter. It's a mess, but necessary. After the cleaning I Fired it up to max, getting pretty hot and burning off the chemicals.

Mrs. did som spackling while I did the cleaning.

Afterward I grilled a few hot dogs. Tried a new variety which is plain hot dog with pieces of spicy cured sausage. Topped with some raw onions and the SB sweet spicy mustard gold sauce. Tasted very good.

A cup of coffee and an icecream as a dessert

thanks. Very happy with the grill. Bought it last year. Actually I bought it from Amazon. Delivered to a us adress I have and shipped by boat to Norway. Saved med 1200 USD by importing it myself.

It looks like a tortilla, but it's made of potatoes. Softer than the tortillas and we don't heat them. We call them "lompe". We have two variants. This one which is unsweetened and "lefse" which is bigger, rectangular and a little sweet. The latter is used for finger food like small rolls with cream cheese and salmon etc.. or only with dairy butter, sugar and cinnamon.

Thanks. The black ones are for supervisors only. The spackle dries fast, specially this thin layer. Fonzie has made some scratches that needs to be fixed.

We used a certain product in a red bottle for the first time...worked semi-well.

Just to clarify: I didn't clean the hot dogs, as the title might imply, though :laughing7:

Thanks. Hot dogs are always good. Regarding the wife, I don't know. She's always been what we call a "rivjern" which directly translates to a grater. It means something like "if something should be done, it must be done". That means by her, in her opinion.

I seem to have missed this. Dangit! The grill cleanup is always never fun, but has to be done. Lol!
