Mothers day shrimp

Under all this ice is 25 pounds of shrimp I will be boiling for mothers day. Can't wait to get started so y'all can see some pictures.

I'm sure you have your preferred recipe BUT have you ever done Shrimp, Crab or Crawfish in what they call the "Ice Chest technique?"
Basically all you do is put the boiled seafood over into a Ice Chest (Styrofoam preferred) as they finish boiling. Do this in layers with newspaper or butcher between each layer, sprinkling any preferred seasoning (or none) as you layer them. Keeping the lid on tight between steps, creates a slight steaming and absorbing of the flavors and they will stay warm for several hours this way.

The first time I used this technique we were boiling Crabs, Shrimp and Mudbugs that day and two hours after finishing they were the best I've ever eaten.
